We are delighted to have been awarded a contract for the supply and installation of a Klargester Bioficient 67 Sewage Treatment Plant at a school in Kent.
We were first appointed to consult as their existing system was failing and causing the Environment Agency to apply pressure, due to the outfall effluent not always meeting the required consent standard. Internal damage was established but despite remedial works the system was still failing to perform to the required level as the schools usage had also increased over the original designed process.
The decision was taken to replace with the Bioficient 67 and, due to the urgency, we will be undertaking the works during term time rather waiting for the summer break which would be the usual time for such a sizable installation (the main tank is over 13mtrs long), so we will have to keep everything contained and running live throughout the process… case study and pictures will follow once work is underway.
